Church History

In the year 1855, a group of Methodist in Fairfield organized what would become the First United Methodist Church.

While much has changed over the last 150 years much is still the same.

First United Methodist Church in the year 2005 is still a community of believers, who like those charter members in 1855, still strive to serve God in love.

This short history tells our story. We hope that our story will inspire those who read it, and will encourage its readers to continue to serve God in love.
